Who are you anyway, I would almost mistake you for Ramuh but your beard is far less impressive than his?

Isn't that what villains do though they prey on the weak?

Maybe the ones with no sense of honor or pride. I'm just here to fight heroes, the rest is none of my business.

If only honor and pride meant you didn't prey on the weak. Sorry to tell you but there are more than enough demons out there that use both as a reason to do exactly that.

Tell me something I don't already know. I'm old enough to remember the excuses for the war. But someone who has actual pride won't feel a need to draw their blade against someone who can't fight back.

Pretty sure things have changed alot since then. Especially when it comes to pride. Have you been living under a rock?

In a sword, actually. I didn't get a lot of news being sealed up on Mallet for 2000 years.

I was afraid of that. You know Dante, don't you?

Have for a long time. I give him jobs now and again.

Well, how about you do me a favor and not give him any involving me? I'm not interested in seeing his dumb face again.

He might have freed me from Mallet, but as far as I'm concerned, I already paid off that debt.

I'm sure he'd like to know his sword is up and wandering about on it's own.

I don't think it works that way if I remember correctly.

He never bothered to use me anyway, so it shouldn't be any of his business. I didn't stick around all these centuries so I could be someone's wall decoration.

I helped him get through Mallet, and was ready to keep lending him my power for as long as he needed it. He's the one who decided he was done with that arrangement.

...do you think monsters would work?

I've never seen the sea before this call, and... I've heard of pirates, but I'm not so sure what they actually are.

So if those in your family tend to specialize, what did you specialize in? Or did you never pick one thing to stick to?

I have a certain fondness for old samurai movies and I am pretty familiar with wielding a katana. I can't say I follow the traditions of the samurai, but if you could bring them into a new age I would say that I am pretty close to that. [ He's not bragging, just trying not to make it seem like all he cares is asking about her and offering up nothing about himself. ]

He has Rebellion why would he? From what I can tell nothing is quite the same to him as Rebellion.

I think you expect far too much from him.

Yeah yeah, he's got his personal Devil Arm, so the rest of us are just collectables. Still doesn't change the fact that I've had enough of hanging around doing nothing, and I don't see how it's any of his business if a sword he never even uses wants to stretch his wings for a while.

On that alone I know you're giving him too much credit. I mean we're talking about a guy who outright ignored his heritage until he literally couldn't anymore.

Can't say I'm surprised, I remember his stance on demons. Why do you think I just left, instead of trying to tell him how bored I was?

And to think he might have actually listened once you caught his attention. But I guess since you're so intent on being the bad guy it won't matter anyway.

Yeah well, I'm no Sparda. For most of us, trying to play the hero just gets you killed. And I had enough of that the first time around.

Neither is Trish, she manages just fine. So I guess that just makes you generally weaker than all of them.

I'm not talking about just running around killing the odd problem demon. That's just pest control. Heroism is things like taking on Mundus to protect humanity as a whole. And I'll have you know that I lasted longer against him than she did.

It's more than just the odd problem demon, there are plenty of smart ones here nowadays.

So you just want to fight Dante again and see if you win...He'd probably be up for it. He needs someone to beat him up now and again and bullets are too expensive for me to do it.
