Very well, I'll humor you. 1.

As for the monsters... I think the girl from that secret society of knights called them "manifestations" or "voids." They're horrible shadowy beasts that only exist in the Hollow Night (a common occurrence in that world). Normal human beings can't see them, but they have a ravenous hunger for life energy and will tear off chunks of people's souls just to get at it.

Most of their victims don't survive. Some even succumb to madness. We both should be thankful these beasts haven't crossed over into either of our worlds.

[ The man in the green creeper hoodie seemed triumphant at first, but the smile kind of falters as he reads the url of the website. ]

"Badgernet Multiversal?" Huh, this must be that website Surolam keeps checking on...

[ You might notice a familiar white emptiness outside this man's window... If you're not distracted by the mess of steampunk gizmos and more modern computer parts scattered about the room. The man smiles again in greeting. ]

Hello, everyone. This is Luca, reporting from a currently unnamed virtual universe. Please excuse the mess. I've been trying to get a connection to other worlds myself, but... Seems my lover beat me to it. Ah heh.

So! How is everything on your side of the screen?

Video 2: Virtual Princess.
[ It's Luca again, filming from what constitutes as outside and fumbling with the camera... Because, um. He's surrounded by a menagerie of creatures. Mainly birds, mice, crabs, and one chocobo.

Some of the smaller animals are crawling on him and digging their claws into his clothes. ]

Ow! [ He picks up a rat and puts it down. ] Ah, how do we contact Badgernet's maitnence team? I... Think we found a bug-- ACK!

[ And then a chibi lizard man dives in from out of nowhere and knocks Luca to the ground. ]

Ow... [ He'll be fine. ]

Luca! Are you alright? [Surolam has to chuckle a bit nonetheless. She can tell he's fine, so she's not too worried there. Nonetheless, she takes a moment to shift into dragon form and lift the lizard man by the collar of his suit.] And who is this little one?

Erm... Fine.

[ The lizard man is gonna hiss and flail uselessly while Luca picks himself up and dusts himself off. As for that lizard... ]

I have no idea! The animals suddenly showed up out of nowhere and started following me around!

[ An owl spawns in all of a sudden and lands on Luca's head... At least the owl is gentle with him... So he barely notices it. ]

I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of posts on Badgernet concerning strange animal behaviors, but this is just... Strange. Considering our circumstances.

[ Ya know, the giant virtual sandbox life? ]

Things going well. Just got done killing evil human king who stole power of god. Break from common routine of killing evil demon kings.

Not met Surolam yet but probably eventually. So lovers both on network? Sounds nice.

[She places the lizard man down so that she can lean forward to nuzzle her boyfriend a bit more.]

Indeed. I am reasonably sure none of us initiated the creation of most of these creatures. [She supposes some of the frogs and rats might be from Zabimaru.] Should I be relieved that they're mostly focused on you?

[ He just... Awkwardly chuckles as he pats his girlfriend's muzzle. ] I don't know, they're interfering with my work a bit...

[ Ever since they were let loose into this malleable, empty world, Luca's been putting his focus onto various projects. Small things, aside from getting their own connection to outside their world, things to keep himself busy until he figures out what to do with himself.

... Which he can't do with all these animals vying for his attention. ]

You think this'll sort itself out, or do we have to make a proper animal sanctuary somewhere?

[ Oh... Huh. A bit concerning, but that sure is another world of sorts... Erm, "world." ]

That's... Quite a lot of murder... Miss?

[ Also concerning is the other person's choppy tone of voice. ]

Yes, actually. I was hoping to get something like this established for everyone in our world to have access to, but I think these people beat me to it.

Pursue violent solutions when necessary. Often not necessary. Primarily I solve problems. By various methods. Sword through heart is one. Diplomacy is another. However often end up in situations where diplomacy not work.

Not surprised other people working on similar thing.

If they just disappear, that'd honestly be even more worrying. [She wonders if they can invoke some kind of admin privilege to make them all stick.] I think most of them have different habitats, too. Don't even know what this guy's would be. [She nudges the lizard man. He's wearing clothes, what does that even mean here?]

Healers can def be fun. Especially when you remember that just because they're on a mission of mercy doesn't mean they can't be characters. Think of Bones or Hawkeye.
