The thought of having a mage cast an ice spell on his armor to help chill him is an interesting one. Both of the mages in my party tend towards having fire spells. It is rather unfortunate. They have some other spells too, but nothing that is particularly icy. I may bring it up with them on the morrow to see what they think. They both have a spell called prestidigitation that seems to have a wide array of uses and may be able to help, though I am no mage so I am not sure.
The Grand Sultan has a good sense of humor and seems like a good man. I quite liked him when he and I first met and I hope to have the opportunity to meet with him again before we leave Saen'dal and go back to Aestall. I would hope that your Sultana is similar.
I have found that there are many things similar across the planes I have visited, but there are also many things that are very different. It has been exciting to visit these different places and learn about them in the brief time I spend there. It is an experience that has humbled me.
I think I drew a sketch of the area of Aestall just south of the Bridgecour Wilds. Let me check.
[ She reaches over to grab a book, then starts flipping through it. She finds the page she's looking for and holds it up. While it's clear that Charbryn is not an artist by trade, she is by no means a slouch. What's pictured is what appears to be plains with rocky hills that roll, seeming to grow larger to one direction and lesser to the other. It's done mostly in ink, but there is some pigment on the page as well, though it's more subtle. ]
It is a very beautiful place to be. I cannot really do it justice, but the view was just as breathtaking as the mountains.
