A good point. It seems that warping and distorting things into a darker version is their specialty... Likely why we settled on the name 'Shadows' in the first place.

And likely why nothing good ever comes from them, beyond a fight.

My, but you truly are the dismal sort. Jurisdiction over an Underworld hardly requires a complete lack of humor, one would think the unusual happenings might at least be seen as interesting.

Truly, if this is what I sounded like to people it is almost little wonder some thought me too serious.

Luckily, there's enough ambient sunlight to see, and a young man at a desk speaking to the video with his head in his hands.]

Does anybody know how to fix a broken leg in...oh, I don't know, a couple hours? Something just shy of 'immediately' would be great.

[Well, that's not the run-of-the-mill small talk update. Papyrus squints at the device to taken in as much of the scene as he can, trying to figure out whose leg is broken, for a start.]

I recommend starting with healing magic, if you can manage it!

[It seems likely that's not an option, but who knows. People can panic and forget all sorts of things, when distracted by pain or fear for their friend or other crisis situations.]

I made some new friends today! They came here from a place called Doma, and they were telling me about an animal that they have there called a horse. They say it's like a chocobo, but not a bird? Do you have horses where you're from? I'd love to see what one looks like!

[ The camera comes on and you're greeted by the sight of a man wearing a robe that is black with gold trim, covering only one shoulder. He looks in his early 20s, scruffy facial hair, black hair tied back into a high and messy tuft to keep it out of his face. He has a cup of herbal tea with him. ]

You know, I had my doubts when I was given this role, especially knowing that this was going to be such a small production, but I've come to really enjoy it. Zero is a rather interesting character even if he's quite subtle. Having a character suffer from memory loss and having them try to remember their past is always a recipe for success.

Does anyone know anything about little girls? The neighbor's kid has decided she wants to hang out all of a sudden. She seems like she's in a not so good situation so I don't mind her sticking around, but I have no clue what kinds of things little girls might be into in terms of like movies, or food. Any advice?

[ Perhaps not who he was expecting to see: a fireball resting atop a set of shoulders seemed to gaze back to the camera, a yellow glint in what seemed to be the center of the fireball. He sat idly for a moment as he thought, then raise a finger excitedly as he had a eureka moment. He knew that people had a hard time understanding charades, so a knife appeared in his hand and he gave his left arm a cut - nothing too serious, nothing gruesome, then pulled out what seemed to be a piece of cake.

He tossed the cake into his fireball of a head and the wound healed instantly. He gave the camera a vigorous thumbs up. ]
