No photos involved, and they are very fluffy.

But the place I was in before, you gained this energy called Chroma from intimate physical contact? And for people under a certain moonblessing, the more Chroma you had the more fox tails you grew. I think nine was the limit, though.

But you can see why I don't really want to give my coworkers details.

Absolutely.

Passing them off as a costume or body mod is probably the best route. No idea how realistic that is for you, but you did say your coworkers were out of touch.

Most of them have been dead for a few decades, so I think they'd probably believe surgery has gotten that advanced...

This app is a lot more popular in the afterlife and afterlife-adjacent social groups than I thought.

Technically we're not in the afterlife? We're summoned spirits, but right now we're living in a mostly normal library.

So are you back in a living body after being 'summoned' or a spiritual existence manifested as ectoplasm or Aura or something?

Because if it's the second one that makes tails a lot easier to explain.

I think technically it's made of ink and magic, but it is a physical body. Not prone to suddenly getting new body parts.

Huh. What's it like being made of ink?

It makes getting bloodstains out of clothes a pain.

Yeah that's enough of a pain when it's actual blood. Although I guess I'd do pretty well for the same reason my partner does well wearing a lot of red.
