Anyway, I don't think healing potions help with pinching, so equipment procurement should definitely be the priority. You said this was the tutorial area? That means there's free stuff or cheap shops around, right? I'm not exactly a gamer but I live in the same room as Vermilion and the same building as Maja Faust so I have a general idea.

Yeah...I can't really help there, I rely on Scroll mapping apps like a chump.

Is this an island you could walk around in a reasonable amount of time? If you can find the beach you could just circle it.

the main problem with that is that this is a tutorial island, which means tutorial battles, including the ones teaching us about random encounters. the more we blunder around the more fishmen, dire crabs, seedlings and slimes we run into.

still probably our best bet because between my and Alesha's healing we tend to break even on Breath, but I don't want to push my luck too far.

I'm very, very grateful we picked up our powers fast, and that I had the foresight to spec Invoker instead of Warlock like I was considering. Wanting to do Anything Goes Martial Arts when I subclass into VHG Monk saved me, three cheers for being a weeb.
