You never owed her anything, Verm. She was using you, and you took your life back. That took a hell of a lot of courage.

And I can't speak for your mother, but I can at least say she's at absolute worst like the third worst parent of a classmate I'm aware of.

... I still can't be sure I'm free, that's the worst part. Who knows if she trusted someone else with some of the keys to who-knows-what is still on me.

You're not wrong about her, but... It's like she tries to care, but just. Can't...

If anything terrible's going to happen to you, I promise, you'll know about it ahead of time. I trust that Macha got rid of anything anyone else could still use, though. Between her skills and her Semblance it's unlikely she missed anything about your components.
